I just wanted to update everyone about the status of my search about A.D. Griffin. A vignette written by me about Adolphus Griffin is published on Dr Quntard Taylor Jr.'s site. Here are the instruction on how to access it. Go to:

click the " African Americans In The West" tab, then click vignettes and look for Adolphus Griffin.

While I have your attention, I also noticed an error in the "Pompey" article. I mentioned that York knew Sacajawea's son, "Pomp" before and after the expedition, which is obviously not possible. The correct surmise would have been "during and after" the expedition.
