One thing you could try, that may or may not yield results-is to check the post records-(post returns, letters received, etc. Also, at the end of the century, the posts submitted separate census schedules. These included civilians living on the post and working there as sutlers, laundry workers, cooks, etc. You could also try the state archives, which may possibly have some documents. Good luck
