I came across your post regarding undeground railroad activities in Madison County. I was doing some research on the net and came across a website for Camp Chesterfield. According to this website, there was some activity near the spiritualist camp here. There is supposed to be a home near the camp that had to do with John Westerfield and the Quakers. There is supposed to be a tunnel where the front porch begins if I'm not mistaken by memory. It's possible that you have came across the same website or have knowledge of this.
