I know the HAVILAND/DE HAVILANDs left the Netherlands & went to NY & then NJ (likely Somerset or Huntington Co.) in the 1600s. A lot of my HOFF/HUFFs left NJ for Lenawee Co. in MI in the late 1700s.

I don't know about the UGGR in that area, but I suspect that my ancestors were helped by them. I'll research this & if I find any info. on the HAVILANDs, I'll contact you.
