No, Ms. Halford, I didn't miss anything in your previous posts. You've done a lot of name dropping and provided a lot of information about OTHER places and people. But all of that is completely immaterial if, first of all, YOUR nest boxes cannot be shown to have been used for messenger birds. And while you've asked a number of questions in your final paragraph, you've missed that one - the one that makes all the difference. (Even then, keep in mind that pigeons were commonly raised for food.) I have to wonder why you persist in avoiding the answer to that basic question. Now you're certainly free to waste your own time, as long as you don't mind questions being raised about your logical abilities. But what you don't seem to "get" is that for all your professed interest in the UGRR, this sort of wild fantasizing, not to put too fine a point on it, does UGRR history no favors. It trivializes the risks taken by actual UGRR participants and by the people who suffered under slavery. I would suggest that those people deserve something better than the wishful "me-tooism" you've so far engaged in.
