At Philly and 6th across from the Courthouse is the home of Elizabeth Houston (or Huston). Her husband was a merchant. She was a supplier for the UGRR. She didn't tell her husband because he was a good Presbyterian and would not have been able to lie if questioned by the authorities. There is also a story about the Hustons of Hustonville. This is from Indiana, Pa. Clarence Stephenson: Impact of the Slavery Issue on Indiana County.
