My approach to reading the instructions is to disregard what I think I already know about similar programs and reading these instructions with a fresh outlook.
I started my family history research in May 1973. I stopped in 1976 after a few years of spinning my wheels. I started again, off and on, in the early 1990s. I was sitting at a microfilm reader at the Federal Archives in Chicago with no clue. Tony and Clarence walked over to me and began showing me how to research properly. I became a member of AAHGS which met at the Carter Woodson Library. Tony is a Past President.
Tony Burroughs gave a demonstration of how Bygones is useful to his research. I value his opinions and knowledge. I feel I will be better organized and have a better tracking system by using Bygones.
