Lordy, lordy, lordy. I am still up trying to replace lost information. Listening to my daughter and my niece, I deleted a certain family from my PAF files, not knowing that the deletion would also delete EVERY connection [which included my daughter, by the way].

I ended up deleting not only my daughter, but her grandparents and great grandparents. I am replacing the information with what I have on my website.

Unfortunately [or not?] my public website does not contain any information on living individuals, so I can't completely fill in deleted information from that source.

All I can say is be careful when you manage your family trees, whether online or on your personal computer. I will not rest until I have restored as much information as possible.

DON'T spontaneously act on the advice of your children, nieces, nephews, greats, etc. The cost is high as I can now attest. After all, they had one goal in mind: to delete my daughter's marriage which produced no offspring, and which is now in divorce court. Their motives were pure, but my response to their request fell far short of the desired result.

Painfully, Spivey
