FTM from brand loyalty..I was with them as early as their version 2. The latest, FTM 2006, I believe is pretty good with its added screen views and listing/charting navagation capabilities.

Roots Magic...When it first came out as Familiy Origins it was way ahead of its time with an almost limitless number of individuals allowed in the database. They also allowed you to attach photos to all of their printed products and they had a larger array of printed products. Their data entry procedures were much easier to follow and then they allowed you to have two files open simultaneously and "drag & drop" data between them.

Now that FTM has "almost" caught up it is just a matter of habit that I still have both.
