Re: Family tree printing
![]() In Response To: Family tree printing ()
Ameena: Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for your question, however, I wanted to thank you profusely for posting it! I saw a post here at Afrigeneas sevaral years ago that mentioned that company by name (http://ancestryprinting.com/), however since then, my computer crashed. Therefore, I was unable to locate the bookmarked site. In order to print my tree, due to its large size, I need a company such as that one capable of printing my family tree, inclusive of all the photos. For several years, I had attempted to have it printed at Kinko's. At the time, though, they did not have the FTM software. Any printing they did would not print on a continuous feed paper. As a result, I was repeatedly disappointed in not being able to take the printed family tree with me to the family reunions. This company had been the only one I had seen which exclusively prints family trees. So, I was really in a quandry. By asking your question, you answered mine! I am not yet ready to print. But, when I sort out the kinks in my file and am ready, I will post a response. With your deadline in November, however, you may beat me to it. Let us know how yours turns out, should you decide to go with them, okay? Best wishes, Nina PS: By the way, the FTM handbook recommends taking your family file to a company, such as an architectural firm, that may have a plotter, in order to facilitate the large-scale print job. You might consider that as an alternative.
