Sometimes ancestry.com gets "stuck in stupid" causing their network connections or servers to slow down. They were upgrading the software last week. I usually logout or go to another website for a few seconds and then return to ancestry later. Usually the speed of a connection is determined by the speed of the Host site.

I laugh everytime I see the Comcast speed boost commercial.
