Hello to all,

The earliest record I have of my ancestors Eliza Robertson abt 1832 Virginia and Jim(James ) Wilson abt 1835 Alabama. They settled in Donaldsonville, Ascension, and Grant Parish, Louisiana. I was able to obtain a 1870 census that lists them and their children. However, I have been completely unsuccessful finding any record of them before 1870. I've search slave schedules to no avail. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
