I just read your message. I have not done extensive research on the Spearman surname, however, I do know there were at least three Spearman plantations in Mississippi. Edmund Spearman had 25 slaves. L. Spearman had 56 slaves and Rutherfod Spearman had 22 slaves. That's basically all I know. My spearman family is mainly from Clarkesdale, Ms.
