I am researching a 3 grandfather, Ephriam Leslie in Jackson County Florida who ist married Millie Hunter and 2nd married Ellin?? I find him in the census but not in 1870. Now the census indicates he was born in Georgia but where? I had always thought he was born in Florida. What I did stumble across a FPOC Lucretia LESSLIE in Nassau Cnty FL age 50 in 1860. Who is she?
Is it possible that Lucretia might be the mother of Ephriam?
I know that is something of a stretch but is what I am exploring now and just thought one of you might help me find Lucretia in 1870 or later. I am intrigued by Lucretia.
