I know that Saint Francis de Sales school was closed in 1970. Saint Emma's Military Academy probably was closed sometimes in the same timeframe.

I attended Saint Emma's in 1955 and 1956. We would go over to Saint Francis to dance about once a month. I enjoyed meeting many young men and women during this time.

For me, I lived only 10 miles from Saint Emma's. There is a catholic church on the grounds of Saint Emma's. I believe it is still in existence today. It is said that Saint Francis de Sales remains in relatively good condition, though it has been left largely untouched since the 1970's. If you go to the office at Saint Emma's, they may have some records that are available. I know that in the 1990's, they still had records of my attendance.
