Not familiar with Guy Russell's store. Even though I only live 45 minutes away, I have not explored much of Rowan Co. There was a Frank Heilig (b. 1851) living another set of my gggranparents, Samuel and Dicey Kelly Icenhour in the 1970 census in Township 7, Cabarrus Co. NC. There are several other surnames you've mentioned, living in close proximity such as House, Brown, Crowell and Shad.
