Just came back from a genealogy junket in NC. If anyone has ancestry in Orange County, don't forget to visit the Rebecca Wall room located in the Hillsborough Library. I found listings for marriages dating back to 1865. They also have copies of the marriage licenses on microfilm in the library! They also have a cemetery census from 1957, and have compiled records of slave sales from 1840-1865.
