I figured you might have been involved in some of the transcriptions since I know you work at the Archives. You guys are doing a terrific job of making more records available for researchers, and I want to thank all of you; I've known about some of these collections before and hope that more folks will take a look at them since they may be surprised at exactly what is available. I've been slowly going through some of the Bible records and am finding some interesting info. When I first began researching, it was in a family bible of one of the slaveowning families that I found the birth records for my Williams family who had been slaves. That was the first time that I realized that many families did that and have made a habit of seeking out bible records since then.
