I am looking for information on Benjamin Lyons who came to Franklin County as a runaway slave and was bound to a Jacob Snowberger (1780-1859). I had wondered if there is a census out there somewhere showing Ben as a slave at that time. He is my g-g-g-grandfather and I have been trying to find early information on him as to how he ended up at the Snow Hill Cloister. Where did he come from? VA/MD area.
