Knoxville, Tenn., April 13, 1893 One the night of April 1st French Sharp, colored, mysteriously disappeared from his home at Athens, Tenn. All search for him failed until today when the mystery was cleared. His badly decomposted body was found with two bullets holes in it. The body was found in a cluster of trees and brush only a short distance from the town. The night of his disappearance he was last seens with John Armstrong, colored. Today Armstrong was arrested. He has been carrying on a lesion with Sharps' wife for a long while and the story is that he put the husband out of his way.
