Has the surname, "Davis" come up through this line? I ask because I found the following. It's a longshot, but looks like it could be possible:

Samuel Davis 26
Julia Davis 25
Marshall Davis 4
Stephen Davis 1

I looked at the image and it does say Davis. Talladega and Shelby Counties border each other.
