Absconded---
in the early part of July last, a negro boy named JOHN,
hired from Mrs. W.H. Haywood, absconded from me. This
is to inform all persons against employing, harboring, or in any way
maintaining said boy, as I shall surely enforce the law against
any one so doing. I will pay for his delivery to me, the price
put upon the head of Queen Victoria's run away, John Mitchel; to witt, ten shillings.
