My great aunts were from Annapolis MD and mentioned once that not all slaves were sold as house slaves or field slaves, that many women were sold into whorehouses. My great aunts are descendents of those whorehouses in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Do you know where I can find more tangible information on this subject?
