Is there any research being done on Palmetto/Rideaux, Notleyville, Frilot Cove, Prairie Laurent, or Leonville? These communities were settled by free peolpe of color before the civil war. And I would like to read what has been written on them. As well as the communities that may not have been founded by blacks by had property owners.
