I am new to this list. I am working on TOWLERs in Long Branch, Monmouth County.

James TOWLER (father) b VA 15 Oct 1881 (or 1882) worked at the Armour
Company in many capacities (smoker's helper, chauffeur)
Sara (Mathis) TOWLER (mother) b FL abt 1882
Robert "Bob" TOWLER (son) b NJ abt 1904
Richmond TOWLER "Sam"? (son) b NJ abt 1906 William TOWLER (son) b NJ abt 1908
Natta TOWLER (dau) b NJ 1909
Lawrence TOWLER (son)

There may be additional daughters.

I am not sure if they are related to the TOWLERs of Matawan and/or Marlboro.

Family members have said James TOWLER was born in Lynchburg, VA. His
WWII draft registration says "Meckenberg Co Virginia." There is a
"Mecklenberg/Mecklenbug" County in VA. Also, I've been told Sara
MATHIS was born in Tampa, FL. I haven't found either of them in the
1900 census, which is before they got married (about 1903).

Anyone working on New Jersey TOWLERs?
