Absolutely cool, Lyndam. That would make sense (and James NOT a bigamist like I thought he was). I will add this divorce info to my family tree. So that means that Lucinda's children did NOT inherit James' land, if he had any. My deceased cousin spent years trying to track that info down.

My mom has told me that she does not believe that, James Nation and my gm's mother, Maggie Ford, were ever legally married. He married another woman and started a family and it kind of drove Maggie to the edge of her emotions, so to speak. However, I will look in AR for a marriage and/or divorce record for James and Maggie. Thanks a lot for your help!
