Yes, I also found some possibles. The fact that there is conflicting info on where he was born doesn't help. Is it Georgia, or is it South Carolina? And one family I saw seemed to go back and forth. Children born in South Carolina, the next one or two in Georgia, and back to South Carolina.

Another thought I had is that he may have been born in Georgia, but his parents (or a parent) were born in South Carolina, and that may have gotten confused and the wrong info given to the census enumerator.
