African American chamber to honor leaders
The Gulf Coast African American Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting and banquet is 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Garden Center at 1805 N. Ninth Ave.

The Chamber will award its first Zenith Awards including: business of the year, nonprofit business of the year and businessperson of the year.

These awards are presented to recognize minority businesses that have excelled during the previous year.
