There was a shooting between two Black men...Eugene House and Henry Patterson which occured about January 15, 1923, that was when Eugene House was shot and killed. He was from Gold Hill, N.C. The residents involved were 538 George Street. The belief had something to do with gambling in which one was gambling for the affections of the other person's lady. Anyway, I need a news clipping from that era if you can find it, and if there is a fee I will send it. Thanks. Joseph
