Genealogy Tips If you are searching for Dearborn County, Ind., ancestors, try the Web site called Dearborn County, Indiana Local History and Genealogy, which can be found at http://home.att.net/~Local_History/Dearborn-Co-IN.htm. This great Web site includes information on all the townships and cities in the county, links to county and city Web sites, maps, links to area libraries with local history and genealogy Web sites, information on Native Americans in the area and many other resources. The Web site is the creation of Ann Mensch and is updated frequently. This Web site is part of a larger project called Indiana History and Genealogy, which can accessed at the bottom of the Dearborn County Web page. Indiana Local History and Genealogy includes individual Web sites for all the counties in the state. Another great resource for Indiana genealogy is the Indiana State Library. The library's Web site provides detailed information on vital records and many other topics of interest.
