Carmen hit the nail right on the head.

I was the VP at our last reunion in 2004. Basically, we did not have a set of rules. The President and I basically communicated with each other a lot and decided on who would do what. Of course, he handled the business transactions with the hotel, caterers, etc., since the reunion was in the city where he lived. But basically we both were like "Ashford and Simpson" with the Pres. taking the leading role. Just get together with your VP and you both come to an agreement of what tasks will be done by whom, and you will be fine. Really, do people always follow a set of rules to the Tee in organizations?
