I would like to take a moment and announce the upcoming Family reunion for the above families. This family originated in Helena, Phillips County, Arkansas. The Thomas ancestors are Freddie, George, Reuben, Simuel,Willis, Richard, Moses and John. Their parents were John and Julia Henderson Thomas.
The McBroom ancestors are Mary, Luvinia (Viney), John and Daniel. Their parents were Laney and Mary Magaline McBroom. Some family member accidentally got changed to McGroom by the census takers.
The reunions have taken place in the past in Helena, Arkansas our hometown. My family in Kansas City has been asked to host the next one in 2007.
