We just had a fantastic family reunion for the line of CATHERINE CLARK, my great great grandmother,
Because she lived well into her nineties, there were families in Little Washington that knew of CATHEFRINE CLARK but not her husband Thomas.
I wrote a newspaper article for the town NEWS that explained the contributions made by THOMAS and CATHERINE CLARK. WE listed the children born of the marriage.
We also honored the last child of CATHERINE and THOMAS - LOUELLA CLARK DENNIS. There were many members of the DENNIS family that attended as well.
What I suppose I am saying is that whoever will attract the relatives that you are seeking, use those "stars" to draw people to the event.
PS/ We had a beautiful photo of CATHERINE CLARK, born a slave, to put in the paper. That was a big plus!
