I think I might have written you before, I have a Willis Harris born in 1827 married Betsy Brame. They had at least 11 children, Ella, Samuel, Willis, Ann, Nickodemas, Mary, Della, George, Betsy, Wesley, and Sally.I have Samuel being born in 1858 and Willis in 1860. I do not have marriage records for them. Ella Harris married Friday Burton. There were many Harris-Burton marriages and there is a branch of the Harris family from Townville that changed their name from Burton to Harris. That would have been the James Burton family. We don't know what happened around 1920 to cause this.
