Joseph, A suggestion on how to get your research distributed to a multitude of family memebers. For my Adams relatives the approach was to create a 'book' using the FTM Book capability. The first one I did was in 2005 and it was 263 pages of genealogical data with notes, photos of indviduals, families and documents which was indexed. The FTM software package did all of the work from the data I had input. It was just a matter of 'point & click'. I now simply keep the book updated and send and updated PDF file to any family member who would like a copy. If they chose they can create a CD or a printout. The most recent version contains data on over 2,000 Adams Family members. (direct & collateral) I'm not worried about anyone claiming the work as their's. The idea is to get the family history into the hands and homes of as many Adams Family members as possible. The outcome of this procedure has been to have more input and communication from the various family branches and they are anxious to insure "their" folks are in the latest version of the book. Presenting a Book at the Family Reunion is an excellent idea. Good Luck and Best Wishes in your effort. Art Thomas
