This is a brilliant idea!

A 'Cousins Club' could help build momentum for the big family reunion.

Folks could have small local/regional gatherings. They can have time to meet, bond and share stories.
This would also help the designated 'family historian' to gather and compile data and pictures for the big reunion.

Folks could set up a social network/blog thingy (see other posts in this thread) that would/should include the youth and seniors.
