Since you mention drama I do remember one incident.
Let's go back into some history here. Some property in N.C. which much of it is gone, that is the home is gone, but a cousin of mine has been paying taxes on it for years, and could really pay it all off but is not about to do so. Another cousin, who has not been around in a lot of years, come in from California and decides he is going to pay it off. The arguement is the fact that this cousin who has been paying the taxes practially went off and told him not to do it, that it was not up to him to pay it. Of course he could have considering the two of them have mothers who were sisters and who were considered the heirs of the property. Anyway, this cousin from California ended up returning to California, leaving a bad taste in the N.C. cousin who was paying taxes. How is that for drama?
