Re: Welcome Pack
In Response To: Re: Welcome Pack ()
a friend of mine added snacks, juice boxes, toothbrushes, lotion, water, and toothpaste to their welecome packages.
An item I added was coloring books you can find crayons cheap this year for like 25 cents a pack or less. The coloring books were from gov't websites such as usda for milk, stranger danger, etc. Check with different us gov't websites to get coloring books and health brochures. For toothbrushes check with dentist, or try start sampling.com and other free sample websites such as walmart's.ng families. Depends to older. If you start now and use mulitple email/mailing address's (I use my mom's and sisters) you will have plenty to put in your welcome packages. You can then add a variety of free samples to the welcome packages which is what I did. I tried to match stuff to families. For example diapers to you
I also use freecycle.org to pickup stuff such as coffee mugs that people dont want anymore.
Walmart sometimes has coffee mugs for 50 cents.
A lady from tupperrware helped me and donated samples. She offered a free online party or onsite party which may be a way to raise funds and get gifts for the reunion as well. You can find her info on our family website below or try my.tupperware.com/VALERIESMITH just add www to the begining of the link.
For families with teens I ordered playbooks for life from the hartford.com
I ordered free magnets from various groups inluding the epa.
for families with infants I ordered coupon of formula, pampers, etc.
You could make a cd of family music and stick it in each bag. I plan to do this for next years. Not sure if legal though checking into this now.
