Here's my 2 cents. Treat it like a wedding. Hire a local professional photographer to take certain pictures at certain events. Make sure they ONLY take the particular pictures you have written down and not what cousin Belle or Uncle Dave wants to add. PICTURES of the GROUP will be very very important in later years. Then buy some throw away camera's give it to the kids and make a game out of it. You won't get all the camera's back, but from the one's you do have there will be picture's you would not have had. Now here's the hard part. WHO PAY'S. I would include the cost of the professional picture's in the purchase of a reunion booklet. I found out, fom past reunions, you can bring your own camera and take picture's, with all the low cost throwaway camera's, family WILL NOT, buy what they need because they depend on the 'free bee's'. You know how it goes--Say Al, when you get your picture's developed -give me the 2nd copy- or I'll pay you later, whenever that day is. Anyone who would like to buy a album of what the photogapher has can order directly from him or her.
