Unfortunately the information on the mythical confederate soldiers who were black is on this site. The usual quotes supporting this myth are listed. Non of which can be substantiated. One of the most outrageous are the quotes attributed to Frederick Douglass. I guess the person has not read the Douglass papers which are on line and can be searched by key word. I recall the long nights of sweating. while writing, Alva, Angela, Selma, VKN and a few others spent getting the cited center on line at AOL Genealogy Forum. Think that was about Black History Month 1992. Guess we left a bunch of our stuff when we vamoosed AOL. We will take a second look.
