There is a census for Madison County. I think the year is 1867 and it does list the entire household by surname, given name,address, age, birthplace, sex, color,employment, employer, and name of former "slaveholder". This census is part of record group 105 currentky being transcribed by NARA. I did begin extracting some of the data. My film reader and the data is in storage and may not be available to me for some time.
