Accomack County VA is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia bordering Northampton Co. VA and the Maryland Counties of Worcester and a small part of Somerset, MD. Accocmack County was under UNION Army control during the Civil War hence the Cenus in 1864

Image No.#754 - This is written on the left side of the inside of the cover
"This is the white list (colored in book no. 155) but it seems that chiefly of those living at Accomack C.H. (Drummondtown) and north thereof.
