My ancestor is Theophile Mahier, a 5th great uncle.
As you know, he represented West Baton Rouge Parish t the constitutional convention of 1868 and in the state House of Representatives, 1868-70. In the Louisiana House of Representatives, Theophile Mahier, served on the Public Building Committee and the Election and Qualifications Committee.
