Re: Freedom's Journal - Oldest AA Newspaper

Hi Taneya Koonce,
Thank you for referencing the Antebellum Black newspapers : Indices to New York Freedom's Journal (1827-1829), The Rights of all (1829), The Weekly advocate (1837), and The Colored American (1837-1841) by Author Donald M Jacobs assisted by Heath Paley, Susan Parker, and Dana Silverman., Published by Westport, Connecticut: Greenwood Press, ©1976.

Fortunately, I discovered the university where I am employed does have a copy among its collection. Bad news is this publication is not available to read digitally on Google Books.

This information is very resourceful for my museum docent training assignment.

Thank you again, you'er a jewel among researchers.
