Hello Edie, WOW, what a small world!!! You've mentioned that you were in school with a cousin of mine from Findlay, OH, Vici (Adams) Hill, and now I see you also have Vigo Co., IN connections. I have paternal cousins from Greencastle, IN who migrated to Terre Haute and some of their descendants are still living in Terre Haute. Also, Tim Pinnick and Khathu, frequent posters to AfriGeneas, have stated they have family who lived at one time in Brazil, IN. Brazil and Terre Haute are only 22 & 36 miles respectively from Greencastle on U.S. Rte 40. With the relatively small African American populations in those areas it is almost a certainty that through community, church and other activities our collective families must have known of each other during the early years of the 20th century.
