During the 1930s this Black man was a film director, a producer and a writer. In those years his main movie that he was involved with was called the Blood of Jesus which later in the 1990s became a part of the Library of Congress in films. Yet this Black man, born on July 14, 1891 and who died on December 13, 1969 is only remembered in the tv series Amos N' Andy, in which he played Andrew"Andy"Brown. His name: Spencer Williams.
