Thanks for your kind words--but there is a slight method in my madness of my Winners of the West offer. Five bucks to cover some fifty pages plus first class postage sounds like a deal. And it is. But if things work out my actual cost per order will be around $4.50---sooo, if I can con 30 readers of this message board to come up with the fin I will have covered the $l5 I had to pay to get the Winners film via Interlibrary Loan from the Wisconsin State Historical. And if this works out, I come out money even, with copies I need for my own research files plus I have left the impression that I am a cooperate good guy who wants nothing more than to advance the study of the black regulars.

Now, is there any interest in oil well shares???
