Re: Thanks to all
In Response To: Re: WHERE ARE PENSION RECORDS ()

I'm on the hunt for military records. I went to my genealogy library and found out they had a book for all the Union Colored Troops. I copied possible names and am comparing them to what notes I have. While I was there found out they now have the 1910 census in book form. Boy am I glad. When I sit down to those microfilm machines I had to take a pain pill 1st. They have been wearing my eyes out. If some of you aren't able to get to the Archives in DC come to St Louis Mo. They are constantly improving information. Call first to see if there is informatin for your state. Most of the in debt information they have is for the Southern Sates. But like I said they are constantly improving. And the librarian that is in charge of the genealogy section is TOP RATE. Check out the Julius Hunter section on their website.
