I'm not sure which records from which office you are sending for.

If you are confident that the four you have found are your ancesters, I would certainly follow up on it. If they were 4 with the same name, then I would try to discover first from location or unit which was the most likely.

I only have personal experience with ordering a PENSION PACKET, an 8 week or more process....first you have to order the forms so you can order the info etc. The cost is about $37 (I don't remember exaactly), but in the one I received, well worth it, and was almost 150 pages of info.
