Well Known Individuals who served in the 372nd or its parent units 1900-1945.
Col.Charles Young served with 9th Sep.Bn of Ohio(later to become part of 372nd.
Gen.Benjamin O.Davis Sr. an officer in in the unit during the 1920's
Brigadier General Wes Hamilton one of the last four black officers to be removed from the 372nd in WW1.He was with Co.C of 1st Bn DC
Artist Romare Bearden 372nd Inf.in WW2 enlisted in 1941.
